Vincent Neil Wharton, known simply as Vince Neil, is a famous American singer, musician, as well as a film score composer. To the public, Vince Neil is perhaps best known as a member and frontman of the popular band called “Motley Crue”. Founded in 1981 by Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx, the band also included a guitar player Mick Mars, and obviously Vince Neil. “Motley Crue” debuted in the music industry with the release of “Too Fast for Love” album, which peaked at #77 on the Billboard 200 music chart, and managed to produce a single entitled “Live Wire”. The band started their rise to fame with their 1983 album “Shout at the Devil”, which produced such singles as “Too Young to Fall in Love” and “Looks That Kill”. Two years later in 1985, the group came out with “Theatre of Pain”, followed by “Girls, Girls, Girls”, which produced a single of the same name. Released to largely favorable reviews, the latter album peaked at #2 on the Billboard chart, and was later awarded a 4-time Platinum certification from the RIAA. Over the years, the members of the group became known for their controversial lifestyles, as well as legal issues, yet their music still inspired many fans. To date, “Motley Crue” has released nine studio albums, the most recent of which entitled “Saints of Los Angeles” came out in 2008.
Vince Neil Net Worth $50 Million
A famous lead vocalist of “Motley Crue”, how rich is Vince Neil? According to sources, Vince Neil’s net worth is estimated to be $50 million, most of which he has accumulated due to his involvement in the music industry, as well as various business ventures.
Vince Neil was born in 1961 in California, United States, where he studied at the Royal Oak High School. Aside from showing desire to be a musician, Neil had also expressed interest in various sports, including football and basketball. Even though Neil is best known as a member of “Motley Cure”, he also succeeded in launching a profitable solo career. When he was fired from “Motley Crue” in 1992, Neil focused on his solo performances instead. A year later, in 1993, he came out with his debut solo album entitled “Exposed”, which peaked at #13 on the Billboard chart. Two years later, in 1995, he released “Carved in Stone” with the lead single “Skylar’s Song”. Since neither Neil’s solo attempts nor “Motley Crue’s” ventures were as successful after he left the group, in 1997 he agreed upon returning to the band. However, the band met with more challenges on their way, as this time Tommy Lee decided to leave “Motley Crue”, while another member Randy Castillo passed away due to cancer, which prompted a hiatus starting shortly after his death. “Saints of Los Angeles” released in 2008 after the hiatus signified the band’s return to the music industry.
Aside from music, Vince Neil opened a club called “Bar One”, launched a tournament entitled “Off The Strip Poker Tournament”, and opened a restaurant in West Palm Beach called “Dr. Feelgood’s Bar and Grill”.
