Pollyanna McIntosh, a Scottish-American actress, was born on March 15, 1979. She is best known for her work in the movies Exam (2009), The Woman (2011), Let Us Prey (2014), the first season of Joe R. Lansdale’s Hap and Leonard (2016), The Walking Dead (2017–2018) and The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2021), as well as the social issue horror film Darlin’ (2019), which she also wrote, directed, and starred in.

McIntosh made her acting debut at the age of 16, acting in small theatre productions and films in London. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2004 and co-directed The Woolgatherer, a theatrical performance, with Anne Dudek and Dyan David Fisher. She landed her first movie part in 2005’s Headspace.

She was cast as Angel in the SundanceTV series Hap and Leonard in 2016 and was given a lead part as Jadis (also known as Anne) in The Walking Dead the following year.

The social issue horror movie Darlin’, which she also directed, debuted at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas, in March 2019.
